Good Bye Wasa, Hello Kimberley!

We had a yummy breakfast of French Toast and then all headed to the shower house so all of us could get cleaned up.  I haven't had a shower that cold in a long time!  Brrr!  It felt good to get clean, but I'm glad it's not a regular occurrence!  Since it is Sunday and we didn't have a way of getting to church and still get the trailer packed up in time for check out, we decided to go for a short walk together as a family.

We found a trail loop that is 2.7 km.  It climbed up to a lookout over the lake.  It was so beautiful and such perfect weather.  I was amazed that there weren't any bugs.

We got back to our campsite just in time to load up the trailer and leave the campsite before the 11:00 checkout time!  We then drove a short while down the road to Kimberley and were really lucky that they let us check in early.
We got everything set up pretty easily and the kids immediately wanted their bikes.  Even though we don't normally let them ride on Sundays, we let them ride around and within minutes Emma found a new friend to play with!  She and Payton (from Calgary) played off and on the rest of the day.
We took the kids down to the playground for a while and then went down to the river.  They had so much fun throwing rocks in the river and walking from rock to rock... that is until Ben slipped and fell in!  Oops!  He was not impressed!  Lennard and I were laughing so hard that it was difficult to help him.  Amazingly, I managed to get the entire event on video!  Poor boy.

Since he was soaking wet, and screaming, we headed back to the trailer to get him changed into dry clothes.  Once he was dry, he settled down. Emma went off to play with Payton again.  Ben wanted to go too, but Emma was pretty determined that he couldn't come with her.  Poor boy.  Lennard went out and played lawn darts and horse shoes with him and then we finally let him watch a movie.  We had dinner and played some more games.  We popped popcorn and even got to FaceTime with my mom for a bit.
