We got to attend our Ward Christmas Party tonight. I love getting to go out and be with our ward family... especially when I get a good meal that I don't have to cook! We were able to sit next to good friends and have a chance to visit all evening. They put on a fun program - at least it was fun until they called up the Ward Council (which I'm a part of) to sing a song. Nothing like getting blindsided! At the very end of the evening, Santa came to visit. It was a complete gong show (as usual), but the kids loved getting to sit on his lap and tell him their Christmas wishes. Ben asked for a Batman cave and Emma asked for an American Girl doll.
